Alpha-N Performance has revealed two BMW M2 coupes. The M2 GT is the more extreme model with a stronger body kit, while the Project “Silver” model looks more subdued.

The Alpha-N M2 GT features a wide range of carbon fiber components, including a large rear wing and a rear spoiler. At the front, the tuner added a lip spoiler, front fender flares, a new grille, and a new hood with a larger air outlet. Under the hood is a carbon fiber engine cover.

The car also wears Edelweiss wheels which are available in two colors. Twenty inches are available, with Alpha-N offering 20- and 21-inch rims as options. The M2 GT features Öhlins’ Road & Track coilover suspension with adjustable camber plates, the exterior reflects the British Racing Green of the E36 M3 GT, of which BMW only produced 356 examples.

The M2 Project “Silver” pays homage to the E46 M3 CSL, which is reflected in the trunk lid and ducktail spoiler made from carbon. The BMW wears a Clubsport front spoiler with vents, a new radiator grille, a hood with a central air vent, fender vents, and a rear spoiler. Under the hood is a carbon fiber engine cover.

The defeated M2 also sports the same Öhlins suspension but lacks adjustable camber plates. It has ProLine 20 and 21-inch wheels.

Alpha-N does not list any powertrain upgrades to the car. The second generation M2 debuted last October with BMW’s S58 engine. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six mill produces 453 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, but BMW offers its eight-speed M Steptronic as an option.

BMW claims the coupe can reach 60 kilometers per hour in 4.1 seconds with a manual gearbox. This drops to 3.9 seconds in models equipped with Automatic. The car has a limited top speed of 155 miles per hour, but the optional M Driver’s Package can increase that to 177 mph, stopping power from the piston front brakes.

Inside, BMW has installed displays – a 12.3-inch driver’s display and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. The M2 went on sale earlier this year, starting at $63,195 (this price includes a $995 discount).
