Recommendations:It’s getting colder, and the excitement you felt about winter fashion at the beginning of the season is starting to wear off.

It’s time to stop buying endless knitwear and look at how you can wear what you already have – or invest in the right amount to make the rest of your wardrobe sing.

There are a few things I couldn’t live without this season that make my whole outfit work, warm up lighter pieces or add style to an outfit that feels ‘one note’.

The under layer

Last season’s favorite clothes and tops should not be removed in winter. Mix and match to create new outfits and add your ‘prices per outfit’ to each outfit.

I have a second white mesh top that I like to wear under everything and this season the turtle neck is making a look again.

From contrasting colors to classic black, try one of these below the layers to breathe new life into a spring dress you can’t live without.

Exercises that fit

Ask any fashion-conscious woman, and she’ll know what tights she wears. Snag, always Snag. Unlike many manufacturers, Snag bras not only make their bras more generous, but also the size (sizes 4-36), so they fit without rolling over or squeezing your stomach. Because of this they are also very durable – I’ve had my Snag tights for four seasons, it’s a miracle.

Try to choose a shade of pants that reflects the colors of your outfit, I like to wear solid navy or forest green – rather than just black. It makes your tights feel less of a necessity and more of a choice accessory to elevate your outfit.

A dream dress

A well-chosen, beautiful shirt will age you.

A good neutral wool coat will be a wardrobe staple, but remember once it’s on, it’s your entire outfit! So don’t be afraid to add a coat of color to the circles as well. In keeping with what Barbie does, I recently picked up this bright pink number from H&M.

Don’t be afraid to add a colorful shirt to your wardrobe.

The Shacket has become very popular in the winter (coat / jacket) and the Moke coat brand wants to walk comfortably in the park, regardless of the weather.

If I had to choose a permanent dress, this would be it. Lost and lead Astray makes for an amazing shape and size and when I pulled this one it did it for me!

A chunky boot

Ah yes, the return of the 90s combat boot. I’m about to turn 40, so I’m sure the last time I wore Spice Girl shoes the platforms were great. This winter chunky boots have also translated to our ankle boots, and I’m not afraid to try more than once.

Personally, I love a chunky shoe. It’s comfortable, you can wade through mud in it and something about the weight brings confidence to your outfit – like YOU MEAN.

Bring variety to your outfit by decorating it with floats or floats – we can all float and float at the same time. The laws are not ours.

There is none

When was the last time you pulled everything out of your wardrobe and looked at what you already have?

Luckily, there are a few things you’ve forgotten about that can be turned into new clothes — pieces from years past that are ready to be repurposed.
